Our History

White and Iverson, LLC, originally White and Oakes, LLC, was established in 1998 by attorneys Brian White and Brian Oakes. The firm was originally housed on Johnston Street in the building that was the Decatur Cornice and Roofing Company in the 1900s, which is where our logo originates from. It was designed by a client in the early years of the business.

Haley Iverson joined the firm in 2016, and later became a partner in 2019. The firm became White, Oakes and Iverson, LLC in 2021 and added Phoenix Iverson.

In 2022, the firm became White and Iverson, LLC when founding partner, Brian Oakes, left the practice of law to become an Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration.

White and Iverson, LLC is now located at 219 East Moulton Street, in the heart of downtown Decatur. We continue to strive to serve our clients and our community with honesty and integrity. We are just ordinary people, trying to help other people navigate their legal issues.
